My sailing friend John and I had the Hinkley Islander out Sunday and he and I are very impressed with her sailing ability! She is rock solid accelerates fast on the lightest breeze, and is a pleasure to sail!
Jesse was out on his Bristol 32 and we had to keep her slowed down so as not to make them look really bad. We had a southerly wind about 5 to 6 and up to about 8 or 9, so we know the Bristol would come into her own about 15 to 20, but I think the Islander will do well in this wind also!
